WOO HOO!!

I’m psyched! I hadn’t lost any weight for two weeks but stayed with my plan and I’ve lost another pound!  I’m out of the ‘nineties’ and don’t EVER plan on returning!!!!!!  still have 2.5 weeks to hit 180 - I still think I can, but it remains to be seen (and worked for)…I’m really glad to be where I am!!! YAY!

I’m feelin’ it!

well I am now one week in and two lbs down….last week I worked on trying to make good decisions (re: food) and staying active (when I’m bored I eat)…. Yesterday I got up and got on the elliptical for 30 mins.  It’s amazing how much easier it is with clean lungs!  Then last night I did 20 push-ups, 20 lunges, 10 tricep lifts and 25 crunches.  I also inflated the big orange ball - which I will use today.  This a.m. I got up and did 30 min. on the elliptical - I worked a lot harder today than yesterday and my butt and quads are feeling it!  I’m off to Vegas with my honey and some friends on March 1 and I am feeling some serious pressure to get at least 8 more lbs. off by then!  I know it’s doable but I know it equates to lots of working out and lots of stepping away from the fridge…. I just keep seeing a thinner and younger looking me!  I know I’m in here!  and I’m ready to bust out! 

My First Blog

wow I do feel that this is a big step!  I recently quit smoking and added on the much talked about quitters weight.  Now I’m confident in my ability to “stay smoke free” so I’m ready to focus my attention on losing these extra lbs.  I used to love to work out and enjoyed a thinner me - I want me back!  :)  I’m not expecting to look like I did 10 or even more so 20 years ago - but I know what’s under this blubber and I need to help me get out!  I am ready!!!
